What is a passing NJSLA score?

Met Expectations (Level 4) and Exceeded Expectations (Level 5) count as meeting the standard. In 3rd grade English Language Arts, the levels are Did Not Yet Meet Expectations (Level 1) (1384 or below), Partially Met Expectations (Level 2) (1385–1422), Approaching Expectations (Level 3) (1423–1445), Met Expectations (Level 4) (1446–1487), Exceeded Expectations (Level 5) (1488 or above). The cut scores are different for each grade and subject.
