AMC 8 2026-27

The MAA's 25-question, 40-minute math contest for students in grade 8 and below. Students in grade 8 or below who are 15.5 or younger on competition day and attend a school in the U.S. or Canada. Students do not register with the MAA: a school, university, math circle, or learning center hosts the contest through a Competition Manager.

Retakes

Once per year. A student may sit the AMC 8 only once during Competition Week, and may take it again in later years while still eligible by grade and age.
