About the program
Georgetown's one-week Medical Academy introduces high school students to medicine with School of Medicine faculty, medical students and MedStar Georgetown physicians. Summer 2027 details were expected to post November 16.
Students attend lectures on anatomy, physiology, radiology and surgery and do hands-on labs including suturing, orthopedic casting, small mammal dissection and patient simulator work.
