What you get
5 written reviews
Each draft you send in is one review: a new essay or a revision of one we have already read. Spend them across the personal statement and supplements, or put several on one essay.
A review, not a rewrite
Line notes on what works, what an admissions reader will trip on, and exactly what to change. The essay stays in the student’s voice.
48-hour turnaround
Each review comes back within two days, so a draft can go through a full round before a deadline.

Read by people who wrote this essay two or three years ago.
Our reviewers are current students and recent graduates of Ivy League and other selective universities. They know what a reader gets through in eight minutes, which openings have been done to death, and where a strong student undersells the thing that would have carried the essay.
Every review is checked by our admissions team before it goes back, so the advice is consistent with the strategy we use with full counseling families.
FAQ
Questions families ask first.
How are the 5 reviews counted?
Every draft you send in counts as one review, whether it is a new essay or a revision of one we have already reviewed. Most families use two or three on the personal statement and the rest on supplements.
Will the mentor write or rewrite the essay?
No. Colleges expect the essay to be the student’s own work, and so do we. Reviews point out what to change and why; the student makes the changes.
What if we need more than 5 reviews, or help beyond essays?
Book a free 25-minute call and we’ll recommend the right counseling package. What you paid for the reviews counts toward it if you upgrade.
How fast is the first review?
Within 48 hours of the upload, including weekends during application season.
How long do we have to use the reviews?
Through December 31, 2026. The package is for this application cycle, so any reviews left after that date expire. Regular Decision deadlines mostly fall in the first days of January, so plan the last drafts for December.
Deadlines are close. A first review comes back in 48 hours.
